| A first person shooter, well, that's how they call it... You're a guy with a gun and some grenades and you're shooting about the whole army of the US. You constantly scroll to the left and bump into infantry guys, tanks and low flying helicopters which you can shoot. Pick up ammo, grenades and some more handy stuff. A very simple action game, but surely an addicting one. I don't know if it got the attention it deserved, but I know I bought this game in the store around the corner for about F7,- (Dutch guilders, about $3.-) and it didn't work at my PC, so I sent a letter to the Publisher and they gave me 2 beautiful games, |

after which this one worked ;)
The graphics are ok for a game from its time and the sounds are almost none existing. The gameplay is good, although the game is very hard. Maybe I'll just recommend this one, it's a small download, so it's not really a problem to try this one out. |

When I was growing up I would look forward to my holidays more than any thing and the reason was operation wolf. I knew that this game was in the arcade and ready for me to play, but a problem was just round the corner it only had one joy gun. But what thrills we had on it and when I heard it was coming out on the Amiga, I was in heaven. Lock and load, lock and load, I love it.
Graphics: five out of ten, they look OK. The sound could have done with a bit more work. It sounds tinny at times, a bit like some seventies audio book.
Gameplay: this throws you off a bit, you feel as though you’re not really in the game, as in the arcade you feel every hand grenade and bullet
Operation Wolf is a classic. Must have. |
