| Someone once said that all you need to make a good game from scratch is some free time, hard work and an original idea. Just take a look at Tetris or Pac-man . Or Plane. The object of the game is simple enough - take control of a fighter plane/spaceship and fly through a swarm of shiny "particles" (check the screenshot), trying to stay alive as long as you can (your time will be shown after you lose the game). |

There would be little time to rest, because once the "particles" leave the screen, another batch attacks your ship, when these leave, another one appears, and so on. The new batch of "particles" always homes in on your plane. So, in order to stay alive, you have to move around. One thing that adds to the difficulty is the speed of your shiny foes - after a while they'll start moving faster.
The game runs in a window, which, as far as I know, it can not be maximized, but that shouldn't be a problem. |
