This is edutainment at its best! I really enjoyed playing this rather easy, childish, but still great detective-style game.
It's rather simple, you're in London, along with the partner you choose. Many mysterious cases are showing up in London, like things being stolen from museums, for example. Your intent is to solve these cases along with your partner.
Playing with the female partner give you some rather irritating "hmmm's" and "you got it's", which seems like the only sound around, but that makes it a very fun game to play for children. |

If that wouldn't have been included in this game, the playing age would have increased significantly.
The game works with a very nice game interface, making it not too hard to navigate through the game and the clues. There's some kind of clue database and clues are saved automatically, which does the trick in making cases interestingly easy to solve.
Although some clues are very obvious, kids will love it. |

I really like to play Eagle Eye Mysteries in London. I especially enjoy working with Jennifer Eagle and her brother, Jake Eagle. I wonder just where in the United States of America their home city is? Is it in the northern United States, the eastern United States, the western United States, or the southern United States? Just what state is the town of Richview in, pray tell? Just which county are Jake and Jennifer Eagle's home town in?
How old are Jake and Jennifer Eagle. What grade were they in at the time of this creation? They seem rather mature for preteens. They seem intelligent to be in middle school or high school. At least they are staying with their aunt and uncle while visiting London. They are fortunate to have their cousin, Nigel Eagle to help out with the cases.
The notebook seems to be rather helpful. It sort of reminds me of when I was in elementary school. The teacher would create notes to put on the overhead. He or she would ask us students to copy down the notes onto our sheet of notebook paper. The TRAVIS is just like the notebook paper in many ways except it is an electronic notebook. Jennifer must be especially careful to whom she entrusts the notebook. Jake knows how protective his sister is over the notebook. Jennifer only lets her brother Jake use it.
As a rule, I really like to work all the mysteries over and over again. My favorite mysteries, however, are the ones that involve Macavity. The Lord and Lady Cheswick meant absolutely no harm in those mysteries. They just wanted to protect the animals. Many animals, such as wolves are an endangered species. If Macavity had the funding, he or she would donate the money that he or she earns in order to help the endangered animals.
This game is an educational game which can supplement many science and social studies lessons. There is a great deal of history about England and France in this software. This game also talks about animals, such as the raven. The creators have also done an excellent job including legends and mythology in this software. I personally would recommend this game to the men and women who teach science and social studies for third, fourth, and fifth grade. Maybe in the future, the Electronics Arts Kids can develop another Eagle Eye Mysteries in another part of the world such as Africa or Asia. |
